Dental extraction
Dental extraction
Extraction is recommended in certain cases, such as when there is a lack of space in the mouth. The dentist or orthodontist may recommend selective extraction. It may be advisable in cases where the tooth root has fractured as a result of trauma or an accident, where a tooth is highly mobile as a result of advanced periodontal disease, or where the tooth has very deep, painful, infected decay and the patient refuses to undergo root canal treatment in order to retain the tooth.
