Digital radiography
Digital radiography requires no chemical solutions, making it an environmentally-friendly choice. It is cost-effective and produces images comparable to traditional radiology. X-rays are taken using the standard X-ray generator, but the typical film is replaced by a reusable phosphor plate. This enables us to reduce radiation levels by up to 75%. The plate is then scanned by a laser beam, enabling the image to be reproduced by a computer. Its advantages include rapid development, no chemical residues and a much lower radiation level.
